About

I'm a software engineer based in Utah who enjoys building products that solve real problems. I've spend the past few years working as an independent contractor, helping startups, and developing my skills.

My path into software has been unconventional. Before focusing on development full-time, I worked in construction and environmental compliance, where I learned the value of reliable systems, clear processes, and practical solutions. That experience continues to influence how I approach software today.

I primarily build with TypeScript, React, Next.js, and PostgreSQL, creating full-stack applications that balance performance, usability, and maintainability. Whether I'm developing customer-facing products, internal tools, or personal projects, I enjoy turning complex workflows into intuitive experiences.

Outside of software, you'll usually find me working on my homelab, self-hosting services, experimenting with new technologies, or planning the next project to build.
